Origym Concept

DEFINING THE CONCEPT OF ORIGYM

Origym Training is defined as a method of Psychomotor Functional and Global Reconditioning.
Reconditioning:
By this we mean, "getting the body back in shape". It rehabilitates the body's structure- be it a healthy or pathological body- by reactivating diagrams and unused movement matrices.

Psychomotor:
Every gesture, every movement involves both the mental and thé somatic. These two concepts are inseparable.
Functional and Global:
Rehabilitation and training can only be effective if they are serving the right function. Furthermore, we must consider the body as a single entity.

The movements must be useful and transferable to everyday life. They should cover the entire body and be part of a concept as a whole.

This requires the solicitation and recruitment of of neuro-muscular coordination and synchronisation channels. The functional work requires reactivation / reinforcement , mobilization, balance, flexibility and suppleness.
